My partner and I just bought a home in the bay area and debated between using a real estate agent or lawyer. Considering the fact that we knew the home we were buying and the market (we had lived in the house for the past four years), we opted to save a ton of money and hire a lawyer. We found Greg Glaser through an internet search so we weren't totally sure what to expect (although his reviews were great!). Hiring Greg was the best decision we made! I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was incredibly knowledgable, super patient and willing to answer all our questions (in language we could understand), and amazingly adept at coming up with creative solutions to the various bumps we encountered in the road. Greg was fantastic to work with! My partner and I were so impressed with Greg that we are now going to hire him to do our wills. His incredibly reasonable flat fees take away any of that anxiety about mounting 'hourly' charges. I would give him 10 stars if I could!

As we began the daunting process of purchasing the home we were renting from our landlords, we found Greg Glaser's attorney services online. Immediately after our first in depth conversation with Greg, our stress and anxiety about all the unknowns and possible pitfalls decreased. Greg was friendly, patient and reassuring from the very beginning. Greg discussed with us our values and goals for this home purchase and used that information to guide our actions. Throughout the whole process he demonstrated deep skill in handling all aspects of a "For Sale By Owner" real estate transaction, with particular skill around how to do so between tenants and landlords (our situation). Greg guided us along each step of the way, with just the right balance of pragmatism, optimism and empathy. He was available via email and phone outside of regular business hours- which we tried not to take advantage of! He responded quickly to emails and phone calls. He helped us to script emails to the sellers (our landlords) especially through sticky points in the transaction. Overall I cannot recommend Greg enough! I honestly cannot think of one area of improvement. I have already recommended Greg to a friend who is looking to sell their property and I would strongly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a down-to-earth, experienced attorney who offers great service at an extremely reasonable price.

I hired Greg to buy a house from a friend. I had no idea how to buy a house from the owner directly. Greg spent a lot of time on the phone, explained the whole process to us patiently, which greatly reduced our anxiety. He was always available that he even helped me on Sunday (I really appreciated it!!) to fill out a form. And, he always has a pleasant tone of the voice, which tells you he is happy to help. Plus, his service fee is very reasonable….
With great patient, pleasant attitude, clear instructions, and his high availability, plus the reasonable price as a Real Estate attorney, what else more could you possibly want!!?
I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Real Estate Lawyer!

Greg assisted me successfully in completing my FSBO transaction. He put a lot of energy in managing the entire process, diligently communicating with the buyer and all parties involved. He was accessible and responsive throughout. I would highly recommend Greg if you are confident and fully engaged in closing your FSBO deal.

Greg handled the purchase of a residential care facility for us. From beginning to end Greg was very responsive and communicated with us very clearly. He gave us a list of dates and tasks that need to be completed which provided much need guidance and structure to the process. And, his fees were very reasonable. We highly recommend Greg.

Greg is competent and helped to guide us through a complete understanding of the FSBO process. California can be complex but Greg helps to keep things easy and understandable.

Greg guided us through a challenging, dynamic, multi-party TIC purchase in San Mateo county. We already knew the sellers and so we needed Greg to guide us through the purchase process. I was drawn to Greg's strong reviews and also his very reasonable fixed rate pricing. Greg's fees included the paperwork for the seller financing which was part of the deal.
Although the transaction itself had many twists and turns, Greg was a solid point of contact for us throughout. He always gave thoughtful answers, and was reachable within a day at most--often much quicker. For some of us this was a first real estate transaction and so you can imagine there were many questions. He handled them all very well. He was also very graceful in handling the sellers at key points in the process.
Greg found us a great escrow person who is familiar with TICs and was able to get the transaction done without problems. They figured out some issues that came out and helped us get through them.
Although we never met Greg in person, that didn't slow us down at all. He was very accessible through email and voice. Also the signing was all done through e-signatures online. There were a few docs which were easier for us to just do in person and scan to him, and that wasn't a problem.
An interesting learning for me is that when it comes to purchasing, everyone is using the standard California forms in order to put together the purchase offer, etc. So whether you get a real estate agent (and pay them a percentage!!) or Greg on fixed fee, you're getting the same end product. In fact I actually felt a lot more comfortable with Greg running this show because I believe a good lawyer will understand the legal parts of a deal better than real estate agent.
I will definitely work with Greg again on future transactions. He is an amazing resource.

Greg helped me with my FSBO sale. My wife and I had a lot of questions. Greg took calls, often during off peak hours, to make sure our process went smoothly. I believe in very comprehensive disclosures. He was helpful in ensuring that our disclosures were complete and easy to understand. He used DocuSign which saved us a lot of time.

I have only great things to say about Greg. He helped us with a 1031 exchange sale in Marin County. Not only is he knowledgeable about all the particulars in a real estate transaction, he is an out of the box thinker and great communicator. I wouldn't hesitate to use Greg again, as we close many real estate transactions annually.

Because we were buying a condo directly from the seller, we felt we didn't need to hire a real estate agent. But we certainly needed legal advice. Greg Glaser provided the needed advice in a very responsive way. And his flat fee was an excellent value. Greg quickly returned calls, promptly reviewed documents, and his friendly demeanor made the difficult process of buying a home so much less stressful. I highly recommend Greg's services.
