also known as Need Legal Help, Here's what to do
For over a decade, I sat on the other side of the table — defending large corporations against employment claims and representing insurance companies against injury claims. I learned their playbooks from the inside: how employers build a defense before an employee ever sees it coming, how adjusters are trained to minimize a payout, and how both sides count on people not knowing their rights or being too intimidated to fight back.
I do the opposite now. For the past 25 years, I've represented individuals — employees, injury victims, families, and people facing criminal charges — across San Jose and the greater Bay Area, bringing that insider knowledge with me to every case.
In employment law, I help employees who've been wrongfully terminated, discriminated against, retaliated against for speaking up, or denied wages they've earned. In personal injury, I represent people hurt by someone else's negligence, handling every insurance company interaction myself so my clients don't have to negotiate with the same tactics I used to run. In family law, I guide clients through divorce, custody, and support matters with a steady, practical hand during one of the hardest chapters of their lives. And in criminal defense, I represent people from arrest through trial, because I've seen how much the first hours and days after an arrest can shape everything that follows.
What ties all of this together is the same conviction: people deserve a lawyer who already knows how the other side thinks — because I used to be the other side. I bring that experience into every negotiation, every filing, and every courtroom.
I try cases when trying them is what gets my clients the outcome they deserve, and I negotiate hard when that's the faster, better path. Either way, my clients get a clear, honest read on where they stand and what their options actually are — not just legal jargon.
If you're dealing with a job loss, an injury, a family matter, or criminal charges, I offer a confidential consultation to walk through your situation and help you understand your next step.

harassment case
I hired Ignascio almost over a year ago for a civil harassment case. This was not the typical case he usually takes, but I'm glad he still decided to represent me. We ultimately won our case ending in a 2 year restraining in my favor. Everything was easy for me with Ignascio.
