bike injury settlement good

Had a bad crash with a semi tractor trailer rig who passed me by crossing over the double yellow lines on a very narrow country bridge approach with zero shoulder. Got knocked down by its tires and side swiped by a few of his trailer tires as a he motored by. Miracle I didn't get killed. I was out of... hospital in 4 doors with some hairline fractures of pelvis and lots of scrapes and bruises etc. Had a total recovery and got a very good settlement from their insurance company. I was pleased with all.

Kept me informed and handled my case with compassion and professionalism

I was biking on a suburban street when I was hit by a car. I wasn't sure how extensive my injuries would be or how long my recovery would take, and Michael encouraged me to be patient and not rush to settle the case. I felt very pressured by the driver's insurance company to resolve the matter ...... and it was such a relief to be able to tell them to contact my attorney. Michael kept me informed of the case's progress and, when the company made a five-figure settlement offer, was able to put it in context so I could decide whether to accept it. It was far, far greater than the amount I would have received if I'd attempted to handle this on my own. I appreciated his knowledge of the law and found it very helpful to work with someone who was a specialist in bike injuries.

Relationship: Worked for lawyer

"In between my 2L and 3L years in law school, I worked for Michael's firm as a summer associate at his San Francisco office. I loved working for Michael and his entire team at Bay Area Bicycle Law. I learned valuable skills that I utilize to this day in my career as a plaintiff's personal injury attorney.  Michael's practice centers around representing bicycle victims and I would highly recommend him. He is keenly intelligent, highly experienced, and possesses a vast amount of knowledge regarding the nuances and intricacies involving what it takes to win a cycling case."

"I endorse this lawyer. I have gotten to know Michael over the past few years since he hired my then law student son Nate to work in his San Francisco office as a summer intern. I know from many conversations with Nate that Michael is a very experienced and seasoned personal injury attorney. He has carved a unique area of law as a bicycle injury specialist. Most importantly he cares about his clients. I think he deserves a 10 rating on AVVO"
