Tina Tran

I ignored reviews I read online because I was in a desperate situation and she seemed willing to help. She was very responsive when she was looking to get our business. The moment she cashed our $4K retainer check her service went down hill quickly. We had to push our case along and beg her for res...ponse. She went a month at times w/no response. She didn't set our court date, respond to prepare us for court or show up at court. Please to not make the mistake we made and trust her.

I would not recommend Tina Tran to my worst adversary. She DOES NOT return calls! She DOES NOT act in a timely manner! She DOES NOT keep me updated on my case and in fact since I retained her, I have had only one (1) call from her and one (email) from her. I can not state how misrepresented / under r...epresented I have been since I have retained Ms. Tina Tran. I will most certainly be filing a complaint with the CA State Bar Association! She is a fraud! What scares me is all the attorneys above that have endorsed her. Know that I will not be going to any of you to clean up the mess or make up for the time that Tina Tran has waisted. I will not be leaving my name because it's not important that you know who I am. She needs to to treat all of her clients with dignity and respect which has not been the case in my working relationship with her. Just know that what I am saying is true and I ask that no one else in need for a divorce attorney go to Tina Tran!

We hired Tina after doing research of the areas lawyers and after reading her reviews we decided to have a consultation with her. We made an evening appointment with her, but when we arrived her office was closed. After calling her she came out to get us. We should have left then. But after talking w...ith her and once she looked at our docs she said she could help. She showed us were the errors were in the docs and said that she would take in our case. She asked if she could hold on to the docs and mail them once she made copies, and we agreed. 2 months later was our court date. We gave her 2 months to prepare for court. In that 2 months we rarely heard from her. We had to continuously chase her. She didn't follow the deadlines and didn't complete the paperwork until the night before court. Im serious, she texted my husband passed 9 pm the night before. Once arrived at court it seemed like she unprepared. She was shuffling through the papers, when the judge would ask her questions she would answer on her own time. Im not sure what is was. My favorite part was when the judge asked her a question something about having other evidence other then hearsay and she something like I didn't have enough time to look into that. We gave her two months. But all that was petty. Our complaint about Tina is in irresponsibility and unresponsive behavior. We are know 2.5 months after court and still have not seen our paperwork and she will not respond to me about the paper work either. She wont ever return any communication. She has the originals to all my docs. We are running out of options. Our next step I guess will have to be the State Bar. I don't want to have to go that far, but its not hard to make yourself copies and return the originals.

I hired her to represent me and she failed to perform the basic duties as an attorney. She currently has cost me and my ex-spouse $1000's of dollars in wasted time trying to contact her and even get her released as my attorney. Filled out paperwork incorrectly. Missed deadlines. Even filling out t...he paper work after not hearing from her for a 1 1/2 months she didn't sign the document. Do not waste your time in such a stressful event in a person's life.

Tina was absolutely wonderful to work with; not only did she provide fast, effective services but she was very professional and nice at the same time. She understood that I had certain needs/wants and was able to quickly and efficaciously grasp the situation first hand. The staff made sure my experi...ence was great, as well: they followed up, as did Tina, making sure that if I had any further questions or concerns, they were always available. I can't thank the Tina & The Tran Law Firm enough for everything they've done for me and my future. If anyone I know needs a Family Law Attorney in Walnut Creek/The Bay Area, I will definitely recommend them to contact Tina Tran.
