Prompt, professional and knowledgeable
I reached out to Glicel after being abruptly terminated by my employer. Within the hour she asked me follow-up questions to better understand the nature of my dismissal and whether or not I had a basis for a case. Within two emails, she provided enough clarity and guidance that I ultimately concluded that I did not have grounds for discrimination or retaliation claims. This provided me piece of mind and allowed me to move forward with my life. Although I didn't end up hiring Glicel, she was very helpful to me and I appreciate her counsel and time she spent with me. I highly recommend her.

Unemployment Insurance Issues
I am an employer who consulted with Glicel about an employee issue to get a better understanding of whether I would owe unemployment, and Glicel gave me a very prompt and thorough answer. Highly knowledgable, and very efficient, I would definitely recommend her to either side, employer or employee who want to know their rights.

A lawyer for the people
Glicel helped with a Wage & Hour litigation matter and did an outstanding job. The best part about working with Glicel is having the ability to communicate with her directly, as oppose to her staff. Glicel is very knowledgeable and was always available to discuss my case, whether it was by telephone or through e-mail. This made me feel that my case was especially important. She did not make me feel that I was just "one of her many clients" but actually someone with a case she believed in and wanted to fight for. At the end, the case concluded with a favorable result. I would hire Glicel again in a heartbeat.

Capable and guides you through the whole process
I had a very wonderful experience working with my lawyer, Glicel Sumagaysay. In addition to working extremely hard on my case, she guided my through the whole process. She was very good and following up with me when I needed to turn in a piece of documentation especially when it was time sensitive. She was very specific and did not leave me guessing. Every time, she seemed very well-prepared and knowledgeable on all aspects of the case. In person and over the phone, she was extremely nice person to deal with, however, when it came to dealing with the opposition, she was all business and it showed our opposing party. Also, she prepared me and the other plaintiffs well before we had to deal with the other lawyers. It gave me the knowledge and confidence in my dealings with them. I would definitely hire her and her partner John Ota for any further Employment and Labor legal matters I may have in the future.

Knowledgeable and Supportive
I did not hire Glicel, but she was honest about my case and thought it would not behoove me to move forward as the results could be minimal if not negative. I followed her advice and she took extra time to talk and give me more information than other lawyers would. I appreciate her honesty and care to my situation and would recommend her highly to anyone seeking help with employment law.

I hired Glicel to represent me on my case for unemployment benefits after my employer wrongfully denied me of them. When I initially contacted Glicel she was more than willing to listen to my full story and always answered my emails and calls promptly. She stood by me every step of the way and I always felt like she truly cared. She fought for me until I won my case. I couldn't thank her enough.
