Expert Representation
It is difficult to put into words just how terrifying the potential for state prison is when facing your very first run-in with the law. I was lost, with absolutely no idea what to do. I hired a lawyer, who turned out to be a nightmare, and when I went to replace him, good fortune smiled on me when I found Maas and Russo. I met with Thomas Maas, who did not treat me like a piece of garbage; he treated me with respect, compassion, empathy, and a determination to do all he could to help me. I hired him on the spot, and it was the smartest thing I have probably ever done in my life. He was very communicative throughout the process, explaining things to me clearly and concisely. He never sugar-coated anything, always explaining things in a way where I was left with a realistic, grounded view of the situation, yet also cautious optimism for the potential of a favorable outcome. Thomas Maas advised me to hire a forensics expert to look into my case, and I believe that the combination of Mr. Maas' abilities and demeanor, coupled with a very favorable report to the court by the expert, was the reason the prosecutor decided to drop the case. The process took a year and a half, but the sense of relief over the outcome is truly overwhelming. I can't imagine anyone who could ever match Thomas Maas for intelligence, compassion, and professional excellence. Words will never be able to fully express my sincere gratitude.

Best lawyer in the bay area
I hired Thomas mass out of all the lawyers in the Bay Area. I was looking for a lawyer I could trust my life with. I’ve hired lawyers before and got played out of my money with no positive results. Mr. mass took genuine care of my case and kept me updated through out the entire process. The charges were dropped thank god!

I hire mass law office to handle my dui case out of Solano county this dui happened 4 years ago. I thought the district attorney never filed the case but i was wrong I had a warrant for my arrest I contacted mass law firm to handle my case and my lawyer Stacey Barrett was the one that took on my case and today after 7 months of her going to court fighting for my rights she got it dismissed! Theirs no words to explain how caring and professional she is since day one she showed compassion even tho i never meet her in person because I live in Orange county ca I felt i was in good hands threw this whole process. Sharp, Diligent, Kind, Respected
Tom is very knowledgeable about DUI defense and diligent in reviewing and evaluating his client's case. He is strategic in navigating the court and the DMV from the beginning to achieve the best possible outcome for his client. He is also clearly respected by other officers of the court. When he saw a possible defense in my case, he pursued it tirelessly - which of course took a lot of additional time but with no additional cost to the flat fee I paid (worth every penny). Tom patiently explained the possible outcomes with blunt honesty. He was already pursuing the best sentence options for me when he defensed the case! He did not stop there, but pursued an acquittal so that I could get my driving privileges restored right away. Through all of this, his staff was very patient and kind with my frequent, stressed-out calls and questions. I hope you don't need a criminal defense attorney, but I have no reservations in recommending this group to handle your case.

Mr. Maas is the best defense attorney in Solano County, He is fair, compassionate, and very smart. I was facing some serious time on some false accusations, I could possibly had spent the rest of my life behind bars but thankfully I hired Mr. Maas and because of his outstanding job I am freed today.

DUI Charges
I hired "Maas Law Offices" to handle my DUI case. Mr. Maas reviewed all reports issued by the police. With his advanced knowledge and understanding of the Calif. Vehicle Code, he requested a DMV hearing. At DMV hearing he proved to them that, my stop and detention were outside the legal parameter set forth in the Calif. Vehicle code, which they agreed with. I retained my driving privileges. The court is a totally separate issue and charges, from the DMV hearing. Once again Mr. Maas's expertise and In-depth understanding of the law and legal procedures, piloted me through to a dismissal of all charges. My family is so very grateful for his understanding, compassion and quality of professionalism. The cost of Mr. Maas's legal services was minimal to the cost I was facing with the conviction. I was not burdened by additional cost at any point. The "Maas law Offices" provide very Quality Legal Services for a family of modest financial means, and with "sincere" compassion as well. Tom saved me from deep depression and for that I am forever GRATEFUL to he and his staff! I feel you can spend more, but you absolutely WILL NOT GET MORE! Awesome lawyer
Thomas is a passionate and articulate attorney. He is on time and has a great prescience and court and from what I gathered he has great repor in the court system. I'm glad I chose him. He put in great work for me and is a straight forward guy. Tells it like it is. Not once did I think my money wasn't spent well.

I retrained Mr. Maas for a felony charge that was a difficult case to defend. Mr. Maas represented me in a professional intelligent manner that afforded me to plead no contest. He managed to negotiate a deal that allowed me probation and no jail time. I found Mr. Maas & his associates to be extremely helpful and would refer him to anyone who needs a full service defense attorney.

Best Decision Ever!!
I had retained Mr. Maas for a felony case I was facing. He sat, listened to my story without prejudice, and viewed my case the exact same way I viewed it. He was able to get the case dismissed during the pre trial hearing. Mr. Maas is well respected by his piers and he is known for being smart, strong, and talented in the court room. The very best!
My wife was facing felony domestic violence charges that could have led to her being being deported if convicted. We talked to numerous attorneys who wanted to take a wait and see approach, telling us it would be nearly impossible to get the charges dropped completely . As soon as we talked to Thomas Maas we knew immediately he was the attorney we would hire. He took a aggressive approach getting the charges dropped before she had to go to court by taking action quickly and contacting the DA immediately . Thanks Thomas you saved our family. I highly recommend this attorney.

Extremely honest and compassionate lawyer.
Mr. Maas worked diligently on our criminal defense. He was so compassionate and caring throughout the entire process. He was even concerned with his clients personal health issues. He was always punctual and reliable. He returned all calls in a reasonable amount of time and spent as much time as was needed to explain each detail thouroughly. He went above and beyond to ensure that we received the best representation possible. His fees were extremely fair and more than reasonable for all of the services we received. Even his office staff is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I've never met an attorney more honest or with as much integrity as Thomas Maas (and I have hired a few over the years). I would highly recommend Mr. Mass to anyone in need of a competent defense attorney.
