Have a discrimination lawsuit against our landlords. They reached out to Matt and he emailed us asking if we can come to some sort of settlement. We agreed, and he tried to sneak a bunch of crazy things that we didn't agree on into the contract, which we of course denied. He then threatened us by say...ing that if we don't revoke our 'bogus" complaint to the DFEH then they won't be "as nice as they have been". Now obviously he doesn't really know much about tenant/landlord law because that is considered retaliation. I know a lawyers job is to defend their client no matter what but threatening a family who complained to the appropriate authorities is in poor taste, regardless of your job
