Brian Roger Davis

Bogaards Davis partner Brian R. Davis assists clients in navigating the complex legal and business/corporate issues that shape their industries. He has more than 20 years of experience analyzing a wide variety of businesses in detail, and then developing, charting and executing plans to capitalize on their opportunities and minimize their legal exposures. As part of this partnership with his clients, he provides aggressive advocacy through civil litigation when needed, and negotiation to resolve business disputes outside the court system when possible and appropriate. He also maintains a large personal injury practice on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants. In all of these venues, Brian R. Davis delivers efficient and cost-effective solutions for his clients. His favorite part of his practice is its diversity. Brian R. Davis has represented clients ranging from individuals to small and medium businesses to Fortune 500 corporations in complex commercial and personal transactions, corporate disputes, claims and business litigation throughout Northern and Southern California. He has extensive jury and bench trial, business arbitration and corporate mediation experience throughout the Counties and Superior Courts of Northern and Southern California, as well as in the United States District Courts in California. Brian also serves as General Counsel to HDI-Harrison Drywall, Inc. and DDR, Inc., combining insightful business legal counsel with hands-on industry experience. Prior to forming the San Francisco-based Bogaards Davis law firm, Brian gained extensive business legal experience as an associate and as a partner in law firms specializing in complex insurance coverage, tort disputes and litigation. Before becoming an attorney, he managed litigation at a national property and casualty insurer. He was in the United States Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton, and served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve in a helicopter combat wing stationed in Northern California. In his time away from the office, Brian attends basketball games at the French American International School where his daughter is on the Middle School’s Junior Varsity Team, and also the San Francisco Ballet following his daughter’s 8-year ballet career. They also regularly attend San Francisco Giants’ and Golden State Warriors’ games, along with swimming and surfing during their family’s annual summer trip to Hawaii. Brian supports and volunteers at the French American International School and the San Francisco Ballet. He is the President and a Board member of the Marina Community Association, working closely with the Mayor’s office, the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, Building Department and other San Francisco City and County agencies to maintain and improve the neighborhood’s living and working environment for homeowners and businesses. Brian is also a fan and supporter of the Make-A-Wish and the OneSimpleWish foundations, and more recently, the Batfund. He is also a big Formula 1 race fan.
