If you want a knowledgeable lawyer with many resources choose Alan. I had a situation w/ a previous employer that terminated me wrongfully. It had to do w/ both medical and recovering commissions that weren't paid. I interviewed several attorneys before I choose Alan. I sent the termination letter to him and he constructed a brilliant demand letter hitting all the legal violations perfectly. Throughout the process Alan kept me in the loop as to his efforts and their responses. He also, completely controlled the mediation process. It didn't settle that day and I felt confident that if it did go to trial I was with the right attorney. Fortunately, with his and the mediators efforts I was able to settle. I had worked for this company for almost 13 years and all of the sudden I'm left in a very vulnerable situation? This review is a long time coming and I meant to post it long ago. Alan Bayer and his partner Heather Borlaise helped me when I was recovering from cancer and lost my job. They were incredibly informative, supportive and all-around wonderful to work with. I can't say enough wonderful things about ...them, they truly did all they could with my best interests at heart and thoroughly prepared me for the daunting task of dealing with mediation and possibly a lawsuit. I never hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is dealing with injustice in the workplace.
