Tobin Daniel Dietrich

Tobin joined SFL Data in April of 2012 as a Discovery Solutions Consultant to assist clients with developing efficient and defensible e-discovery processes.  Since graduating from law school in 2006, he has amassed a variety of skills and experiences that give him unique insight into client needs.  He has worked for a U.S. Representative, built a small practice litigating Trusts and Estates disputes, worked for the Northern California Innocence Project, sat for the US Patent and Trademark Registration Examination, and has over two years of e-discovery experience, that includes leading a specialized search and analysis team for one of the largest global manufacturers of consumer electronics in a patent dispute.

Prior to SFL, Tobin was an attorney with the Law Office of Bowman & Associates, APC. His practice focused on trust and probate litigation, serving as counsel to trustees and beneficiaries as well as will disputes. Mr. Dietrich also handled a variety of civil litigation claims and represented injured workers before the workers’ compensation appeals board.  Prior to joining Bowman & Associates, Mr. Dietrich worked for the U.S. House of Representatives as a legislative assistant for Representative Jerry McNerney.

Tobin has successfully represented clients in probate, family, employment, corporate, and civil matters.  He also has extensive legislative experience, having worked in the California Assembly and California Senate in addition to the U.S. House of Representatives.
