About me

Ben Riley has tried over 20 cases to verdict before juries, judges and arbitrators.  He specializes in trade secret, patent, and other intellectual property issues, and also in commercial litigation including unfair competition and antitrust, class actions and license litigation.  He also has an active arbitration practice.

Ben co-led a 6-week securities class action trial, alleging $250 million in damages, and obtained a defense verdict.  The Daily Journal cited the case as the largest defense jury trial victory for the year.

Ben has also represented various charities in estate, trust and undue influence cases, recovering over $10 million in trial verdicts and settlements.
