Be Very Careful
You have to be very careful about hiring this attorney. Your case will not get the full attention that it needs. You will have to check every thing he does including the spelling. He mixes up previous cases with yours. I had a case dismissed due to him not replying in time. Please do your homework an...

Poor representation
I would recommend to avoid using this attorney if at all possible. I was represented by Joshua Burt in a case against AT&T. When engaging the services of the attorney I signed a retainer agreement which clearly stated that he would have errors & omissions insurance (malpractice insurance). A...

Consultation
While Josh did not take my case he did spend 30 minutes of his time talking with me trying to understand and explain my case and direct me to attorneys that fit my case. Josh was extremely kind and very knowledgeable.

Attorney for hire
Unfortunately, I can only respond to what my personal experience was with Mr. Burt. He initially responded to my question posted in a prompt manner. However, I sent him a follow up email to inquire if I could move forward with his services and never heard back from him.

Replied last July 29, 2019This individual's complaint is inaccurate and has no basis. As Monica says, I did answer a question on AVVO that she posted. Monica emailed me without referring to the AVVO question I asked. I did, in fact, respond to this email asking for clarification. However, several days later, Monica sent me an email that went to spam because she included some cut and pasting from the web and the meta data that comes with it. As a result, my filter placed her email in spam. I did not see her email until I search for it upon reading this negative review. I understand Monica's frustration. However, she was never my client (these are client reviews) and I never saw her second email. Had her email not gone to spam, she would have received a timely response. Monica also had the opportunity to call me as I had provided her with my complete contact information previously. Monica never made such an attempt. I have respectfully requested that Monica remove this negative review. I hope she does so since I do not believe this review is accurate (she was never a client and cannot give an informed client review) and not representative of my work.
