Shannon has helped me with a complicated divorce process because it was involved 2 kids under age 18 oversea. Her profession helped my two kids to have safe and secure place to live. My ex-husband and his second lawyer tried to twist the story against me; however, the justice was carried out in the C...ourt. This is the most import thing to me that I did fight in this divorce. After two previous consultations with other lawyers I made an appointment with Shannon Stein and I have never met a better personable lawyer thus far. Eager to help me with my case, which involved divorce, child support, and alimony. I was feeling defeated before making an appointment with Shannon an...d was looking at only seeing my son 20% of the time and paying child support. My ex-wife hired a bully of an attorney who never replied to the case until last minute and also changed out the MSA agreement constantly. The opposing basically tried bully me into choosing options that were not fair. Shannon was hired to help resolve a private school matter involving my 13 year old daughter, other parent was being petty and refused to even discuss the matter! They hired a " big name law firm". After shannon reviewed the facts she quickly formulated a plan. She even went so far as to unearth so...me not so conveinent information to present to the judge on the day of the hearing. Needless to say, we never appeared before a Judge that day at one point it seemed the opposing party was about to have a mini melt down! He had two big-shot attorneys! In a matter of a couple of hours that day my ex caved in completely!!! If Shannon did not have the experience and confidence she demonstrated that day I am certain things would have gone much different. On a side note, Shannon seemed to be very well known around the Family Law Courthouse. Its obvious and clear that she is very experienced with difficult parties. My situation was that ex didn't really want a divorce as we have a 2 1/2 year old. Her goal was to go through separation / division of assets and after that try to work things out. We had some problems like most marriages do. The inlaws kept throwing wood to the burning fire and their initial 'free' ...babysitting help became permantent.
