I cannot put into words how strongly I recommend Shannon Stein and her practice. I came to her with a complex custody case, involving an international relocation of children who were living mostly with the other parent, who was beset with serious issues of her own, due to an informal understanding ab...out the relocation that had broken down. I had never had an attorney in the case, and there was no reason to expect an easy path. Shannon quickly took charge, and together with her wonderful colleague, Malavika, and kind and sensitive office staff, steered the case in the right direction. At no time did Shannon play “dirty,” which the opposing counsel certainly seemed to do; there were no insults, no yelling or provocations. There was also no wasting of time and funds on unnecessary litigation; in fact, Shannon’s clear mission was to seek an amicable resolution, with an eye towards coparenting in the future, i.e., staying out of court. 10 months later, we had a court order moving the children to my (their father’s) residence abroad. I cannot thank Shannon and her office enough.

Working through custody of two small children, all my concerns were addressed and resolved to my satisfaction, and more importantly, in the best interest of my children. After two previous consultations with other lawyers I made an appointment with Shannon Stein and I have never met a better personable lawyer thus far. Eager to help me with my case, which involved divorce, child support, and alimony. I was feeling defeated before making an appointment with Shannon an...d was looking at only seeing my son 20% of the time and paying child support. My ex-wife hired a bully of an attorney who never replied to the case until last minute and also changed out the MSA agreement constantly. The opposing basically tried bully me into choosing options that were not fair. With Shannon’s knowledge and professionalism I was able to have my son on a 50/50 schedule and bring to realization that I was owed alimony and child support from the opposing side and finish the divorce on a positive note.
