Sophie Alcorn is certified as a specialist in immigration and nationality law by the State Bar of California. She is one of the small percentage who have risen to the very top of this comlpex legal field.
A California native and first came to the Silicon Valley when she attended Stanford University and studied International Relations. She received her J.D. cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, as well as the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Graduate Award and the Equal Justice Works Award.
Sophie is admitted to State Bar of California, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third and Ninth Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Sophie founded Alcorn Immigration Law in 2015 in Mountain View, California, to focus on the U.S. immigration law needs of Silicon Valley including visa and green card options for founders, investors, talent and families. She is currently serving as Treasurer of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Santa Clara Valley Chapter.
