I contacted Mr Siegwart recently because my mother had received inheritance paperwork from Germany and we did not really understand the German inheritance system or what was in the paperwork. I e-mailed Mr. Siegwart asking what his fee would be to check over the papers she was sent and to advise m...e as to whether or not a lawyer would be needed. He got back to me quickly and arranged for a FREE consultation which took place shortly thereafter. During the consultation, he took the time to listen carefully to all the details of the situation and allowed me to ask many questions. He gave me complete answers and explanations as well as some suggestions as to courses of action that we might consider. At no time did he put any pressure on me to hire him and, in fact, after my discussion with Mr Siegwart, and armed with the advice and information he offered during the consultation, we determined that we would continue to handle the matter on our own.
