I found Mr. Siegwart's law practice by accident online but could not have been more pleased with my experience. I am a dual U.S. / E.U. (Germany) citizen and I am about to travel to Germany in a few days. A relative of mine in Germany threatened to file an inheritance claim against me and seize/freeze my financial assets the moment I set foot in Germany. I am an attorney myself and I rarely meet attorneys as nice, polite and incredibly knowledgeable as Mr. Siegwart. Not only was Mr. Siegwart able to answer my concerns and questions in a way that I could easily understand his legal explanation, he able to put my fears to rest and I can now travel with peace of mind and enjoy my vacation (and hopefully resolve some on-going family drama). I contacted Mr. Siegwart through his website and received a response from him the next day and asked for additional information. He also called. When we finally connected via phone he asked a few additional questions. He immediately provided me with information and the text to include in a letter ...to request the Pflichtteil in an inheritance matter. He was very courteous. I had contact a different German/American attorney more local to my area but never received a response. If the need arises for my to hire a German/American attorney he will be at the top of my list.
