Biography
William M. Aron is a graduate from the Duke University School of Law and an active member of the California State Bar. While at Duke University, Mr. Aron also earned an M.A. in Psychology, authoring a paper examining the efficacy of polygraph examinations in a criminal law context. His formal education also includes negotiation and dispute resolution research as a visiting scholar at Bond University in Sydney, Australia and a stint as a visiting scholar at Cambridge University in Cambridge, England.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Aron served as a Deputy District Attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he honed his jury trial skills in the process of prosecuting hundreds of DUI and criminal cases. While in private practice, he served as a visiting professor of law through the University of Virginia's Semester at Sea Program and has furnished litigation consulting services to some of the largest law firms in the United States.
Mr. Aron is a Central Coast native and is active in the community. He currently serves on the board of directors of Life, Inc., a non-profit organization which seeks to provide resources and education for at-risk youth.

Fine
Communication was not the best in my opinion. Backroom negotiating with the opposition and just dictating to me the plan. I felt some stonewalling. Based on my situation and background, I felt a better deal could be negotiated for the value. It worked out fine.

Replied last March 02, 2023I am sure most clients would love to observe attorney negotiations directly with the District Attorney, however, local prosecutors have a policy that prohibits defendants from attendance. We realize the process can be seemingly complex but we do our best to optimize the outcome for every client in light of his or her unique circumstances. If this person is or was a client they know they can contact our office any time and we will do our best to answer questions and assist.
