It was truly an auspicious day when I was referred to Bill Haney to represent me in a first-time DUI case where my BAC was over .15. When I initially met Bill several days later, I felt terrible about my bad choice as well as traumatized and intimidated by a system I knew would soon turn its gaze up...on me. William Haney was an incredible lawyer and was very personable and down to earth. He was understanding of situations and was amazing to watch work. He was able to reduce my Minor in Possession of Alcohol to a distruption of peace. He rarely ever handles these cases but handled it like it was the most... important case he'd seen in a while.

He not only listened patiently to a hysterical mother (ME) but he calmly, professionally and with extreme compassion for my son and his situation, explained to all of the laws. He carefully explained what all of this meant for us and the possible outcomes. He put our mind at ease and assured my son that no judge was "going to hurt him" over this situation. He explained that sometimes people have bad days, he said even he has bad days. My son is a very quiet young man and is not very comfortable in social situations, especially when he is the focus of attention but Bill made him feel comfortable and really relieved a lot of his anxiety just speaking so frankly with him. We did not end up needing Bills services but his advice truly helped assist us and we ended up with a very satisfactory outcome in the end. He took this time to help us even though he was going to become a daddy any day! Need I say more about his dedication to his profession? I am eternally grateful!
