Great Personal Injury Lawyer

Let me tell you a little about Mark Hancock. He is friendly and responsive and kept me informed and educated about my personal injury case. Consideration was taken to the smallest details, and his enthusiasm for his work is impressive. He is readily available to get ahold of and talk to. I felt my... matter was fully embraced and comprehended. He was effectively aggressive with the opposing parties when necessary which is something I find personally difficult to do, and he does this all the while remaining polite and professional. I have been in the legal profession for over 40 years and have worked in the court system over 30 years. I sustained an injury which affected my career. A winning strategy was developed. I was so impressed. I felt so relieved that I did not have to take the lead in this stressful situation and was always confident that my bases were covered, and that gave me peace of mind. My case was very carefully managed to ensure the defendants received an effective demand letter and exhibit package and thorough Complaint that convincingly laid out the pertinent facts and medical documentation that highlighted my conditions, restrictions and limitations so a fully informed decision could be made by the opposing parties without haste. To top it off Mark smoothed the process over and took care of settling my medical liens. The process of researching the ownership of and maintenance responsibility for the land thoroughly and obtaining the deeds in my case was especially complex. There were lots of parties in my case and Mark had an excellent comprehension of what entity was in what position. I felt everything was covered and under control. He made connections with experts and was able to document the scene and obtain an aerial photograph. We achieved an extremely satisfactory outcome. This is the type of experience you hope to have when working with an attorney. I am definitely recommending Mark Hancock to be your attorney.

Responsive, Thorough, Strategic, & Compassionate

I really thought that we were a lost cause, and had started to plan for the worst after experiencing substantial slab leak within our home. We had exhausted our discussions in working with our insurance directly and had come to a stalemate on what they would/ would not cover; resulting in no payment ...for a wet saturated slab not suitable for flooring/ rebuilding. In speaking with work colleagues, many of them recommended a public adjuster’s help to support us moving forward. After reaching out to two of them, they advised that insurance companies typically only pay out on 5% of slab claims; so our chances of success would be very low. In addition, they advised that they would charge approximately 20% of any payout received. While intimidated by potentially moving into litigation, our family had no other option but to retain legal counsel as the choice was clear; either attempt to obtain payout for what we were entitled too based off our policy, or be left with a non-livable house with four children, during COVID (really rough year for our family). I’m so grateful we reached out to Mr. Hancock! Mark worked with us to help us understand our policy, developed a strategy on how to engage further with our insurance, and drove delivery on multiple payments from our insurance - all while avoiding litigation. Mark was responsive, thorough, strategic, and most importantly, compassionate while supporting us. In addition, we spent well under 20% on fees (less than ½ of that). If you’re unsure of whether you should get help like we were, I strongly encourage you to reach out! Please rest assured Mark will explore your situation and give you direct advice and possible legal pathways if available. After this interaction, I will never hesitate to seek legal help again; it’s just unfortunate insurance companies do not do the right thing without a legal push in the correct direction. Thank you Mark for helping us and our family get back into our home. We are forever grateful.

Great experience with a wonderful outcome

I cannot say enough about my experience with Mark. I was presented with a very stressful situation with a denial of errors and omissions insurance and Mark examined my coverage and was able to make a forceful argument for coverage resulting in my insurance to pay the settlement. Mark aggressively neg...otiated with the plaintiff's attorney resulting in a best case scenario. I would highly recommend Mark. He is aggressive, he is honest and he is extremely knowledgeable.

Long Term Disability Appeal

I am very happy with Mark Hancock’s counsel and advice. During my appeal process, he was very prompt in returning my calls, emails, and answering all of my questions. He wrote an extremely detailed and excellent appeal. He was very thorough in obtaining and reviewing my records, concentrating on t...he significant complaints and developing information about them, obtaining my medication list and exploring the side effects. He worked very hard with my many doctors to have forms and reports completed by them, which proved to be most helpful. He explained and convinced me of the importance of getting a vocational opinion and the importance of applying for social security disability benefits. I believe all of these things proved to be most useful in getting my appeal granted. If a need ever arises, I will not hesitate to call on Mr. Hancock again

Highly Recommended for Disability Insurance Issues – Hire Him Before You Think You Have a Problem

One of the most difficult times in my life was when I had to stop working due to a disability based on a long-term illness. Since my employer offered disability insurance, I thought that one thing I would not have to worry about while I was dealing with my medical issues was an income. I was naïve ab...out disability insurance because I had never had to deal with it before. I had to sign paperwork allowing the company virtually unlimited access to my private information and provided them with everything that they asked for because I was threatened with my benefits being cut off if I did not comply. Little did I know that everything I provided to the company would one day be used against me to eventually deny my claim. The truth is that disability insurance companies who offer insurance under ERISA have virtually no incentive to continue to pay a claim because there is virtually no financial penalty for them to do so even when there is substantial medical evidence of disability as there was in my case. The insurance companies deny claims because most people do not have the financial resources to fight them. I had some hints that the insurance company was going to be difficult so I hired Mark Hancock to provide me with advice; however, I felt that I could handle the insurance company on my own because I had misplaced faith that the system would work because I have a legitimate disability. I had no idea that they would do things like hire a private investigator to follow me while never paying for a doctor to actually examine me. When the insurance company eventually denied my claim I hired Mark Hancock to handle my appeal. The appeal was expensive because I had a massive quantity of medical records and many doctors were involved in my care. Mr. Hancock also had to deal with the information that I voluntarily provided the company because I felt that I had to and a legal sized file box full of information that the insurance company compiled on me. Mr. Hancock knew what was necessary to win my case, things that I never could have done on my own, including hiring a disability analyst to counter the insurance company’s “experts” and obtaining statements from my doctors in the proper format. As I mentioned before, the appeal was expensive but Mr. Hancock fought hard to win my appeal. My advice to anyone dealing with a claim under a disability insurance policy is to hire a lawyer and to hire one early on in the process. The way the company treated my case after I hired Mr. Hancock was much different than before I had legal representation. You will save time, aggravation and money by hiring a lawyer before you think you have a problem with your insurance company. You will also avoid making statements that the insurance company will try to twist into evidence that you are not disabled. Finally, you will be able to concentrate on your health rather than dealing with the unreasonable demands of your insurance company. Mr. Hancock was the reason my benefits were restored and I recommend him without reservation. I am posting this anonymously because my experience with this insurance company has made me closely guard all aspects of my personal life not because I have any reservations about Mr. Hancock or the services that he continues to provide on my behalf.
