Very Disappointed. Very Poor People Skills
I found Ms. Lawson to be abrasive, disinterested and lacking of any compassion. I felt like just another file and a very robotic approach to her practice of law. For the same price, I was able to find someone who seemed to actually care for me as a person and my situation. Don't settle.

Awesome Attorney
Janet really knows her stuff! She's a bulldog, and that's the kind of attorney you want with bankruptcy issues! Thank you Janet for everything you've done for me. I really appreciate it.

She and her Associates are the best in knowledge, thoroughness, and tough in the courtroom when you need it. Extremely Detailed. Yes, they are dog lovers but dedicated day and night to get the job done. They saved my home and gave me hope. They are top notch. Laura B.

At first I was put off by Janet's abrupt attitude and her unwillingness to schedule phone calls, but I suppose if she didn't have these characteristics, she wouldn't be able to get anything done. However, I have found that she replies promptly to e-mails and seems to know the b...
"I endorse this lawyer. I have worked with Janet on several cases and she has also become somewhat of a mentor to me. She is excellent in the work that she does in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcies and I highly recommend her to anyone needing assistance."

"I have known Ms. Lawson since I started practicing bankruptcy law over 20 years ago. We have shared offices and appeared in court together for two decades. She is a very fine individual and excellent bankruptcy attorney. I have seen how hard she works for her clients. Her knowledge and expertise are top notch. I endorse this lawyer."

I am now fighting with the attorney who represents the trustee over how much they should be paid on their "administrative claim"
I took my case to trial. We won and I was awarded $40,000.00 in attorney's fees from Heritage Pacific Financial. They could not prove that they could "reasonably rely" on the loan paper work.
The Bankruptcy Appellate Panel agreed with me that this rule was not consistent with the bankruptcy code
