She gets the job done.

She gets the job done. At first I was put off by Janet's abrupt attitude and her unwillingness to schedule phone calls, but I suppose if she didn't have these characteristics, she wouldn't be able to get anything done. However, I have found that she replies promptly to e-mails and seems to know the b...usiness very well. She has given me great advice, especially regarding scams, and in all my appointments with her she has been attentive and anxious to make sure my questions were answered to my satisfaction. She has never made me feel as if she was in a hurry to get me out of her office. Her staff has also been very friendly and anxious to please. It is a little disconcerting that her office seems cluttered and there are dogs everywhere, but I'm sure if I could take my dog with me to work, I certainly would.

"I have known Ms. Lawson since I started practicing bankruptcy law over 20 years ago. We have shared offices and appeared in court together for two decades. She is a very fine individual and excellent bankruptcy attorney. I have seen how hard she works for her clients. Her knowledge and expertise are top notch. I endorse this lawyer."

Sample of Legal Cases

Tim Yoo, attorney for the trustee

I am now fighting with the attorney who represents the trustee over how much they should be paid on their "administrative claim"

Heritage Pacific Financial

I took my case to trial. We won and I was awarded $40,000.00 in attorney's fees from Heritage Pacific Financial. They could not prove that they could "reasonably rely" on the loan paper work.

In Re Steinacher

The Bankruptcy Appellate Panel agreed with me that this rule was not consistent with the bankruptcy code
