Oct 07, 2013OUTCOME: I am now fighting with the attorney who represents the trustee over how much they should be paid on their "administrative claim"
In this case the debtor's prior counsel agreed to have the debtors sell their house and pay the Trustee $54,000.00. I reviewed the file and found that the lawyer who was supposed to be representing th ... em did not look at the claims. There were 4 claims filed by creditors. Three of them were beyond the statute of limitations. As a result of my work they now only need to pay one claim in the amount of $1,670.00. Their house does not need to be sold.
