Biography
Michael A. Beliz is a highly experienced Long Beach Personal Injury Attorney.
Michael A. Beliz focuses his practice on litigating large to small personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of plaintiffs. Over the years, he help settle hundreds of thousands of dollars for his clients. With a background in economics, Michael understands the cost-benefit analysis of what it takes to settle a case for the greatest outcome for his clients.
Mr. Beliz graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from California State University, Long Beach. Along the way, he became a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honor Society for Economics.
The following fall, he was admitted to the economic graduated program at University of California, Santa Barbara. In less than nine months, Michael obtained his Master of Arts degree in economics.
Prior to his legal education, Michael tutored high school and college age students in mathematics and economics.
At the University of San Diego, School of Law, Michael was a two-time recipient of the Delroy Richardson Endowed Law Scholarship and received the high score in Negotiation. He also was a semi-finalist in the ATLA Intramural Mock Trial Competition.
In April 2006, Mr. Beliz began working as a law clerk at The Reeves Law Group in Santa Ana, California. He was promoted to an associate attorney after passing the July 2006 California Bar Examination. In the four years as an associate attorney at The Reeves Law Group, he progressed to handling his own case files in all types of personal injury cases, including auto, pedestrian, and dog bites.
Michael was born in Huntington Beach and schooled at Blessed Sacrament School in Westminster, California. He later went on to play and letter in basketball and track at Saint Anthony High School in Long Beach, California. He enjoys playing basketball with his former elementary school classmates, running, reading non-fiction, and traveling.
