I am paying monthly for a Metlife premium legal plan. My plan is the best plan you can buy! So, I need to sue a couple of businesses in small claims court. Metlife sent me a list of lawyers who are supposed to help with Small Claims Court and Mr. Lee was on that list. So, I called and spoke with t...he receptionist who told me to email Mr. Lee the details of my case and we would start from there! She said to make sure that I "CC" the email to multiple people to make sure Lee gets it, to which I did. Mr. Lee responded to my email with the most contradictory gibberish I have ever received from an attorney! He basically said that he DOES NOT help with small claims anymore....but in the very next sentence he said, "We can help you" A little confused? Me too! Unhappy and confused with the reply I let several days go by before I emailed him again. I tried my best to be "nice" as I have learned in the past that Attorneys have surprisingly thin skin. I let him know that I was quite confused by his last email and I was unsure if he was willing to help or not! So ... I'm going to reply to your last email...ask my question and just wait for your reply! Thank you! Two days later, no reply! I have email tracking and he never even opened it. So on the 3rd day I call and left a voice mail which is unsettling enough as it appears they do not pick up the phone directly. Atleast not often. The receptionist returned my call and to no surprise she said Mr. Lee is unable to take my case. To which I replied I never wanted him to "Take" my case, I just needed legal advice as your firm told Metlife you would provide!! I told her that this treatment was VERY unprofessional and Mr. Lee should expect a negative review online and I will make Metlife aware of the situation also! She did nothing to make things right and hung up. So, as promised...here is my Negative review and I will call Metlife monday. If this is the extremely poor treatment I am receiving for simple advice about "Garbage", unreliable small claims court, I can only imagine how disconnected and unhelpful this firm will be if hired! After I got off the phone with his receptionist Mr. Lee did finally reply to my email with...."Oh, that is what happened". WTF does that mean?? My email was very legible!! What a waste of time. Thanks for NOTHING Mr. Lee.
