Until now I had never had a good experience with a lawyer-not that I found myself in need of one much. Attorney Vasquez is amazing! She did everything for me and my family. I had a situation with my landlord that the apartment had water damage and exposed to asbestos I was living in a hotel for over 4 months and my landlord wouldn’t do anything to fix it. My landlord attorney wanted me to sign a paper... to give my rights up and stating that he was not responsible for any damaged. I was going to sign it but when I contacted attorney Vasquez and she explained everything to me I change my mind and she even contacted other city people to take action. She was very helpful in explaining to me the legal process and what to expect. She’s definitely an advocate who looked out for my best interests. She is knowledgeable, aggressive and goes out her hands to whomever she needs to contacted to help out with my situation. Of 4 attorneys I have called over the past months, Deborah stands honesty, and professionalism. We had a consultation, and although, she couldn’t take my case, she explained and help me with my situation, but she was more than understanding to my situation. Despite the fact that we couldn't work together longer, the fact that she took the time out of her day to actually call me back made a huge impression. She wasn't after my money. She wasn't willing to try to get me into her office to make money on a case. I have found that many attorneys spend five minutes on the phone demand money, Others attorney need an eviction notice for them to help me out. Attorney Vasquez is a big advocate for our rights. Attorney Vasquez is amazing! She did everything and then some for me and my family, including my mentally and physically disabled daughter. When Attorney Vasquez found out that the owners of the property where I lived would not allow me to build a ramp for my daughter’s wheelchair she went to court a...nd got an order from the Judge ordering the owners to build a ramp within 5 days….and she made sure that it was built in 5 days. When she found out that the property manager called us racist names she got an order from the Court ordering that the property manager could not talk to us anymore. When the post office stopped delivering mail to us because our mailboxes were broken she made sure that we got new mailboxes. Attorney Vasquez made my dreams come true. She made it possible for me to not only get a hospital bed for my disabled daughter but also a beautiful, specialized car so that my daughter could get in and out of the car with her wheelchair. Now instead of leaving my daughter at home because we could not take her with us in the car when we traveled she gets to be a part of the family and travel with us. When I was in the hospital she came to visit me and brought me flowers. I cannot say enough good things about Attorney Vasquez. She did all of this in addition to making sure that the owners of the apartment that I lived in, that was infested with rats and cockroaches with no heater and walls that were falling apart, made safe repairs AND compensated me for the years and years that I suffered in that apartment with my family. When I think of how Attorney Vasquez helped me and my family it makes me cry. She is a truly kind person and an excellent attorney. I trust her 100% and if somebody ever needs an attorney for ANYTHING….I will refer them to Attorney Vasquez.
