Biography
Ms. Cordero is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and George Washington University Law School.
Ms. Cordero began her law career at the Law Office of Barry T. Simons, where she handled over 3000 DUI cases, including DMV administrative per se hearings and writs appeals of erroneous DMV decisions. Ms. Cordero learned to utilize the DMV Hearings to not only fight to protect one's driving privileges, but also to develop strategies that will work for you in the defense of your DUI case in Court, and she does it well having won countless victories without ever having to take a client into trial.
Ms. Cordero was a "Contributing Editor" to "California Drunk Driving Law", often considered the "Bible of DUI Defense" in California from 2003-2016. Ms. Cordero left the Law Office of Barry T. Simons in 2016 to form her own firm, "The SoCal Law Network", with her two law partners, Peter F. Iocona and Alan Castillo.
Ms. Cordero has dealt with a multitude of search and seizure issues and will research and investigate your case and challenge improper police practices and faulty science through pre-trial motions and jury trial. No DUI conviction!
Although the BAC test result came in at nearly twice the legal limit for Driving Under the Influence, Ms. Cordero skillfully obtained a reduced charge of wreckless driving instead of the DUI conviction I was faced with.
