Attorney Faith Nouri practices Family and Immigration Law in both Orange County and Los Angeles County Superior Courts. She handles cases in a variety of areas, as shown below. Ms. Nouri is also an experienced Mediator for both Los Angeles and Orange Counties courts. Ms. Nouri is a Minor’s Counsel appointed by the court and privately in both Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Ms. Nouri is often asked as a Mediator to resolve parties’ private disputes. Ms. Nouri is a licensed and trained Collaborative Divorce Attorney. Collaborative Divorce means resolving divorce or any family law dispute with mediation with assistance of the parties’ attorneys who have the mindset and training to resolve the dispute outside of court. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved and must be litigated, Ms. Nouri is a skilled litigator, and a licensed Family Law Certified Specialist which is a designation granted by the California State Bar to a selected few attorneys with knowledge, background and courtroom experience as a Family Law litigator.

Cases we handle in the FAMILY LAW area and can MEDIATE are:  

1. Divorce and obtaining a Judgment to be single again;
2. High Net Worth Divorce, using our experience as a negotiator and litigator;
3. Domestic Violence Restraining Order parents and minor children, including Custody Orders as needed;
4. Child Custody and obtaining Legal and Physical Custody over minor children;
5. Issues that arise when one parent wants to Leave the State or Country with minor children. These cases require a Move-Away Order and can be very tricky when the other parent opposes;
6. International Abduction and Custody cases;
7. Child Support to set the monetary payment; to modify and change an existing Child Support order or terminate support whether post-judgment or temporary support pending custody resolution;
8. Spousal Support or Alimony to set the monetary payment; to modify and change an existing Spousal Support order or terminate support whether post-divorce judgment or temporary support;
9. Establish parent-child relationships with minor children conceived with a significant other, when the parties are not married (also called a Paternity Action);
10. Setting Support for Immigrant Spouse sponsored by a U.S. citizen;
11. Enforcing Orders and Judgments when one party is not listening or hearing the Court and the other party;
12. Drafting a Marital Settlement Agreement settling everything for the spouses by an agreement;
13. Collaboratively mediate an Agreement and settle a case completely in private without the need to go to court;
14. Utilize private judging to get a quick, equitable and fair resolution; and
15. Grandparent’s rights.

I have settled hundreds of cases for the courts and private parties and I can tell you, no case is the same. Each case is unique and the dynamic between the parties is unique. Immigration Law:

We handle U.S. and Canada Immigration such as:

1. Criminal Rehabilitation and Temporary Residency Permits for U.S. Citizens inadmissible to Canada due to a prior crime committed in the U.S.
2. Foreign Nationals unable to enter the U.S. due to remarks in their border records
3. Foreign Nationals with inadmissibility issues such as prior criminal convictions, misrepresentation at the border, prior deportation, among others
4. Family Based Immigration
5. ICE detention and Deportation or Removal Hearings;
6. Customs and Border Protection issues such as entry and exit, I-94 and inadmissibility interviews
7. Obtaining Records from the Department of Homeland Security to correct and review Government information on foreign nationals as well as U.S. citizens
8. Investment Visas as Entrepreneur E Visas and large investors EB-5 in the U.S.
9. Investment Visas provincial and Federal programs for Canada
10. Obtaining Waivers inside and outside of the U.S. for clients applying to the U.S.
