We have had an ongoing problem with a neighbor for the past two (2) years. The problem has been they fire off "sky rockets" during parties they have almost weekly. This scares the neighborhood animals, to include horses and dogs. Many of the neighbors have personally contacted them and ask them to di...scontinue this illegal practice. Their response has always been they can do what ever they want on their property. The sheriff has been contacted on numerous occasions but have failed to respond. After numerous failed attempts to get a resolution legal action was sought. Contact was made with Shaun Phillips Esq. of the Roberts Law Firm. He explained that he would send a letter of intent to the neighbor notifying him that any further action would result in legal action being taken. This could result in criminal prosecution and/or fines. Since this action was taken all further violations have ceased. Mr. Phillips' speedy action and professionalism was greatly appreciated by me and all of the neighbors in the neighborhood. I will use him again if I have a need for legal council. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing legal council.
