Robert David Estrin

Robert Estrin is an experienced litigator specializing in high stakes complex commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes.  As an effective and efficient advocate, Mr. Estrin focuses on obtaining great results while minimizing costs and inconvenience to his clients.  With a background in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and nearly a decade specializing in litigation damages, Mr. Estrin has a unique ability to appropriately value cases to further his clients’ interests. 

Mr. Estrin has represented companies and individuals in state and federal courts throughout California and the United States including:

·         Fortune 500 companies such as Google, ExxonMobil, Motorola, The Walt Disney Company, and Pfizer;

·         Life sciences companies such as Allergan, Sequenom, Affymetrix, and Avon Products;

·         Financial services companies such as Experian, KeyBank, and City National Bank; and

·         High profile individuals such as Brandy Norwood and Jill Scott.

For these companies, persons and others Mr. Estrin has provided his keen legal instincts to obtain incredible results.  Mr. Estrin has participated in three trials, all complete victories.  Mr. Estrin has also written, argued and won crucial motions and appeals.  Mr. Estrin has successfully opposed summary judgment motions in several cases leading to impressive settlements.  Mr. Estrin is also experienced in both arbitrations and mediations.

Prior to joining Klein and Wilson, Mr. Estrin practiced for over 7 years at Kaye Scholer LLP’s Los Angeles office as a member of both the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property groups.  While at Kaye Scholer, Mr. Estrin won Kaye Scholer’s Pro Bono Award in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2015.  His many pro bono accomplishments include successfully returning full ownership for several homeowners who were induced by fraud to sign quitclaim deeds.
