Donald John Hensel

The past few years I have been forced to deal with several great attorneys. However Mr. Hensel has stood by far above the rest. I am a single father who was wrongfully accused of several very serious allegations that would have completely lost custody of any child. With Mr. Hensel's expert Knowledge ...and experience he not only got me sole legal custody of my child, but also used his knowledge to bring the truth forward before the count and completely discredit the other parties. Don is truly a master of his trade with his slow and methodical ways. and this comes from someone who NEVER writes reviews on people. I would highly recommend Mr. Hensel to anyone who is having family law problems.

Don is great at what he does, seems a little too busy at times to handle all his cases.... But overall hes great. My only complaint would have to be his office lady Shirley or Sheryl? I don't know her name, but she is never nice and for the money he charges his clients, you would think the office sta...ff would be a little nicer.

Perhaps Don is no worse then any other lawyer, I can't say. Certainly if you have the money to shovel at him you won't be disappointed. I know he's done a good job for some. Unfortunately I did not and decided that employing Don was not in my best interest or that of my children. But when I informed ...him of my decision and asked for the return of the remainder of my retainer he told me that he had used the entire sum 'thinking deeply' about my case. When I asked for an itemized billing he insinuated that he'd sue me. I desperately needed the money that he patently did NOT earn and refused to return contrary to ABA rules. He's a shark, and what you better keep in mind is that a shark can chomp down on you as easily as your ex-spouse. I'm sorry I ever heard his name. Keep in mind too that Don will cheerfully consume your money charging his hourly rate while driving to and from court so if you do decide to hire this ethically impaired individual make sure your case is being heard somewhere close to his office.

Dr. Don Hensel is a terrific lawyer. He genuinely passionate about his cases. He's representing a close friend of mine on another matter and her reflection of Dr. Hensel echos mine. I have a very complicated case. His experience beyond family law really shines through. He's strategic and delibe...rate. He truly fights so that the system doesn't railroad you. As for billing, I think he under bills. He's experienced and smart enough to charge much more, but he's down to earth. He's not into the flash BMW or Mercedes. I believe he truly represents his clients from his heart and passion for their case. He's not in this profession for the money. Highly recommended!
