Sheryl Ann McDonnell

Ms. McDonnell was recommended to me by a co-worker, who was on the opposing side of Ms. McDonnell but was very impressed by her approach and demeanor in Court. Everything, my co-worker stated about Sheryl was true. Sheryl was very knowledgeable regarding my case and what my ex-wife and her attorney... filed. Sheryl reported based off their filings that they had no grounds to file as the Court had already ruled on the matter at the prior hearing. Sheryl filed her brief and argued her point at my trial. The Court heard both sides and ruled in my favor and denied my ex- wife's filing. I had to spend money to save money but well worth it. Sheryl was aggressive and would not put up with the opposing attorney's games in Court. She was well prepared and defended my case well. If you want a knowledgeable attorney and aggressive attorney Sheryl fits both.

I selected Ms. McDonnell because of her reputation for tenacity. She came highly recommended by the people that know best...other lawyers. I had checked with a few attorneys and when they heard who I was up against...they insisted I meet with Ms. McDonnell. They were right! She is class, with ...a little bit of pitbull. She was always prepared for court and her legal analysis of the law and facts was completely on point. No matter what the other side or the judge said...she never stopped until everyone in the courtroom understood the nuances of my case. She was nothing short of amazing. I see posts online about her billing or costs. You get what you pay for. When children and property are at stake...you don't want some $1,500 flat fee hack that won't research every detail of your case. Without even giving me a chance to explain my case she was very rude to the point she cussed me out threw my paper work. At no time did i treat her badly or disrespect her in any way! She is very unprofessional she should be disbarred for shoddy professionalism! The worst part is this was just a cons...ult and it lasted only 5 minutes before she threatened to call the police after i asked for my paper work back and kicked me out of her office! She also kept my $50 fee that was supposed to be for an hour! I should of know something was going to go wrong when she didn't want my husband to come with me into her office!

Divorce is not really an easy thing to go through and no one goes in to a marriage preparing for a divorce. So, unfortunately, it’s a confusing time. Mrs. McDonnell was nothing short of the perfect blend of professionalism, effectiveness, and compassion. She was an ear when I needed one. She was v...ery professional in all her communications and processes. And, she was extremely effective in insuring the outcome of my case was one that helped me move on to the next part of my life. SHE SLAMED ME WITH PAPERWORK THEN WANTED IT BACK THE NEXT DAY!! DROPPED MY EX'S CONTEMPT. DROPPED ME RIGHT BEFORE MY BIG COURT DAY!! SPENT OVER 30,000 MAXED OUT MY CREDIT CARDS IN HOPES SHE WAS GOING TO TRY TO FIGHT FOR IT. IM A SINGLE MOTHER WITH NO JOB,NO EDUCATION AND NOW HAVE TO GO BK AND AM LOOS...ING MY HOUSE BECAUSE SHE DID NOT FIGHT FOR ME!! AND SHE THEN SAYS IM NOT A BILL COLLECTOR!! ONLY SPOKE TO HER 1 TIME AND SHE JUST DOES WHAT SHE WANTS AND CHARGES YOU FOR IT!
