Sheryl Ann McDonnell

I honestly had a great experience with Sheryl and her team. She managed to reduce my spousal support for my ex, make sure I had the majority of custody, and establish a restraining order. No one grows up wanting to hire a divorce lawyer. But there are some relationships that just cannot be fixed despite time and effort. I knew Sheryl, but lost contact as she pursued her law career. I had a very simple case and just wanted a good attorney to help me lower the amount of money I had to pay my ex every month. She ended up, not only lowering the amount of money I was paying but got me more time with my kids. I went from having them every other weekend to having 50/50 custody of them.... I highly recommend her. She is aggressive and fights hard for what you want.

Before I met Ms. McDonnell, I was paying over 2,000 a month in child support and I hardly ever saw my kids(90/10 visitation). My ex was essentially just trying to paint me out as a bad guy to get my visitation down to increase her support payments. Sheryl saw through that and proved to the court that... my ex had been lying the whole time. We then got 50/50 visitation (which was all I had wanted the whole time), and my child support payments were down to a fraction of what they had been before. I also got to keep my retirement which I had all but said goodbye to. Now I won't lie there were times it was hard to understand what was going on in my case, but I realized they were working on it and the less I made a fuss and just did what they told me to, the less I had to pay and the faster the case went. Which was admittedly difficult for the control freak in me, but I'd rather have an attorney that knows what she's doing like Sheryl, than one that pats my hand and gets their butt kicked in court.
