In December of 2017 I found myself in need of an attorney to help me gain visitation of my two grandsons. I hired Michael Razo to be my attorney in my divorce case starting in August 2016. I know that everybody has the assumption that their divorce case may have been very difficult and extreme. Mine was nothing short of that to say the least. At the time in August 2016 my now ex-wife, left the house a...nd was not speaking to me and took our then 15 year old daughter with her and was not allowing me to see her or talk to her at all. This task was not an easy one to communicate to the judge, counselors and Social Services. He knew the best people to go to. This was a very vital part of my case that allowed me to get custody 100% of my daughter. Mr. Razo is a very professional attorney, which I witnessed him taking a very difficult case and presenting the matter in front of the court in a manner that clarified exactly what was going on and how my case should be ruled in order to receive a full custody of my daughter. Mr. Razo is also a very compassionate attorney. He believes in Family Values and he understood my heartbreak and the stress that I was under. He was always available for any questions that I had and explained everything in great detail so I could understand. Mr. Razo was excellent in returning phone calls in a timely manner and presenting the information in a clear way so that I understood whatever needed to be accomplished. Mr. Razo was also able to negotiate my financial situation to the best possible scenario that would work for me. Although my divorce was an expensive one, it could have been worse if we had gone to trial and I could have had things lingering in the balance for a long time. However we were able to negotiate an agreement that would allow me to pay her out and keep the house at a price that I was able to move on with my life. Mr. Razo is an excellent attorney he knows his trade, he knows other professionals that could help, such as counselors in the area of Riverside and he knows the law and will give you the best sound advice for your situation. He is not an attorney that will lead you down a rabbit Trail. He is focused on what is best for you and your family. Divorce is tragic and I I wish no one had to go through it. I went to Mike Razo after I was threatened by my ex wife's attorney, and Mike instantly assured me of my rights. Mike was honest about costs and what we could reasonably expect to accomplish in court. He never lied to me or attempted to nickel and dime me, which previous lawyers had done until I coul...d no longer sustain my efforts in court. Mike collaborated with me and guided me in my efforts to protect my child, and the result were better than I could have reasonably expected. I received full custody of my son after a 12 year battle with unreasonable opposition. I am not a fan of lawyers, and I was not overly anxious to seek out legal assistance due to a few past experiences that had left a bad taste in my mouth. I am happy to inform anyone seeking legal assistance that Mike is indeed the exception to that rule. Mike did his research, he took the time and he put in the effort. He didn't attempt to paint an overly optimistic picture and unwittingly lead me down the primrose path. He spoke to me openly and honestly about the good and the bad that might happen regarding each and every action I endorsed. He was readily available when I had questions or concerns, and I undoubtedly spoke more with him directly than I did with any legal assistant or secretary. He made several referrals for me as I needed a visitation supervisor, theraputic visitation, a 730 evaluation, accountant, and an attorney in Orange county where we had a restraining order. They have been instrumental in helping to create a new normal for my family, one that is safe and hopeful. I can finally breathe again because of the work this firm has done.
