A Life Saver

My wife and went from making over $100,000 a year to literally making zero! We were facing a huge lawsuit from the bank that had the loan on our income property, facing foreclosure and needed to file for bankruptcy. Lazaro knew every aspect of what we were going through, always educated us on what ...we were up against, what our options were and what we could expect depending on the results. Every time we had a question or concern, he immediately returned the call, told us what to expect and how to proceed. He was never wrong in his advise and the bankruptcy turned out exactly as he said it would. No surprises, no hidden costs, no upsets. He was very calm and collected during the entire process. Even when the BK judge delayed the discharge and the bank asked for a stay for the lawsuit, Lazaro told us what to expect, what to say and what would happen...there were no surprises. Lazaro prepared us thoroughly for our court appearance, always showed up on time and was very professional. He advised us regarding our home, which we got to keep...which was a huge item since we had not owned the home for over 2 years and was in jeopardy of losing it in the BK, He knew the laws and cited other cases for us and advised us on what to sign and what not to sign with the lender. We eventually got to sell the home and keep the proceeds. He advised us on our cars, we kept one car and returned the other car back to the bank. He was correct in regards to our lawsuit with the bank against our rental property and how it would "disappear" once the BK was discharged, Its been over a year and some items still come up regarding the BK, when we call Lazaro, he always returns the call immediately and gives us advise on what the law is and what our options are...never asking for any additional money. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone going through a bankruptcy. We thought his prices were reasonable and we definitely got more than our moneys worth...he literally saved our life!

Thoroughly satisfied with the services provided by Attorney Lazaro E. Fernandez

Mr. Fernandez was always very courteous, thorough and conducted business in a very timely manner. The same is to be said of each member of his staff. Both me and my husband had every confidence that Mr. Lazaro would handle our case with the utmost professionalism. All of our questions were answere...d thoroughly and in a timely manner. We were also always kept up to date on the status of our case. From our first meeting, we had the feeling that the Fernandez organization cared about us as individuals and not just another case.

Great team!

Mr. Lazaro Fernandez was a referral to me from a past client of his and there is no regret what so ever contacting this firm. Mr. Fernandez gives thorough information regarding bankruptcy and was very specific to my concerns regarding my case. Mr. Fernandez made me feel at ease while I was going thro...ugh such a difficult time with the stresses of life. His staff was very professional and were great at assisting me with all of my concerns. Ms. Shelly M. was excellent and sweet. She never skipped a beat making sure all things were in order and keeping me updated via E-mails and with phone calls. Chapter 13 Filing Converted to a 7

We remember meeting Mr. Fernandez for the first time in November 2010 when we were forced into filing for bankruptcy. Because of a wage garnishment, our case had to be expedited to stop the 2nd garnishment. He and his staff made it happen before Thanksgiving. We qualified for chapter 13, much to our ...dismay. He and his staff walked us through the process and was on top of our case all the way through. Our phone calls and emails were returned in a reasonable amount of time if not the same day. The phone was always answered with a friendly voice ready to assist and not once was there the sense of, "Oh, it's you again..." and we asked plenty of questions and sent many a fax. We would definitely recommend Mr. Fernandez to anyone needing to file bankruptcy and especially a chapter 13. Because of Mr. Fernandez's integrity and thoroughness in his practice , the respect he has with the trustee and his colleagues is apparent. We will admit that appearing in court was a little nerve wrecking; however, we weren't asked half the questions some of the others filing chp 13 were nor did we have any items questioned unlike others. 2 years later we were able to file for chapter 7. The same was experienced when we appeared for our conversion. Mr. Fernandez has a cool and calm very matter-of-fact personality. We would venture to guess that one of his motto's would be "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff".

Attorney Fernandez and Staff are EXCELLENT!

In my professional life, I have dealt with many law offices. I have never found an attorney and staff more knowledgeable, supportive, and determined to make my life easier. If I had to go through this experience, I was fortunate to have Attorney Fernandez and his staff by my side. I did not know a...nything about this at all when I started.
