also known as Lazaro Fernandez, Lazaro E. Fernandez
After law school and passing the Bar exam, I clerked for a bankruptcy judge. I have practiced exclusively in bankruptcy law for almost 27 years. The range of services runs from filing a proof of claim to Ch. 7 cases to Ch. 11 cases to Ch. 13 cases as well as trial work (actual trial of cases), generally regarding dischargeability issues.
I run a law office; I do not run a mill. You meet with me personally for the initial consultation. You will hear from me as we prepare your case. You will meet with me personally to review and sign your bankruptcy paperwork, and I will attend the creditor meeting with you.
The filing of a case requires detailed preparation, review and execution. This is why I do not accept "emergency" cases. You can also check my reviews on and . We actively manage cases from start to finish to ensure maximum benefits for our clients. You deserve no less, but I expect you to put effort and work into your case.
I am fluent in Spanish as are 2 of my staff members. Yo y dos de mis empleados hablamos Espanol fluentemente. We can do the entire bankruptcy process in Spanish when the need arises. Podemos hacer el proceso entero de la bancarota en Espanol si es necesario. I enjoy travel as a hobby.
