Richard Collins Houghton

I thought I did my research when I picked Richard Houghton. My instiincts are typically razor sharp, however in the case of "retaining an attorney" I picked this guy based on another Attorney's recommendation. Halfway through my legal process, the Attorney who recommended Houghton to me, suggest...ed I get a more competent Attorney to take over.my case. The above statements are my opinion(s).

Unfortunately I have made poor choices to represent me in the past. This time I researched carefully. Although he appears quiet and reserved he certainly not only knows family law but as methodical as he is.....beware.......Richard can put the other side in a tail spin. He works night and day inc...luding weekends, I know.... often I would get that Sunday evening call regarding my case. Not to worry........Richard has it covered. My case has been on going for almost eight years, extremely complicated not to mention a three week trial. I hired Richard two years ago I think if he were on this case in 2010 it would have been long over. He had to deal with the devil in my ex however he was prepared without hesitation. Richard Houghton IS A WINNER

Family law is not an area that is easy to understand and it involves a lot of emotion. Rick explained things to me in a concise and down to earth way without all the legal jargon that attorney's usually use. I was extremely pleased with the way he handled my matter and the results that he achieved.... I would recommend him to anyone needing a family law attorney.
