Biography
Attorney Christopher Hickey is a local product of the Coachella Valley; he was born in Palm Springs and graduated from Palm Desert High School. Although law school took him to the Washington, D.C. area, Mr. Hickey never lost his desire to return to his hometown and give back to the community he always cherished. In addition to his professional work, he also volunteers as a Mock Trial coach at his alma mater, Palm Desert High School.
Growing up in the desert, Mr. Hickey worked hands-on with respected criminal defense attorneys in the area, participating in criminal trials since high school and demonstrating an early passion for practicing law and legal mediation. Mr. Hickey credits his father for installing his early tenacity and vigor for the law when observing his father’s criminal defense practice in Palm Springs.
A highly-awarded debater in college, Mr. Hickey continued his schooling at George Mason University School of Law, where he excelled in persuasive argumentation and writing.
Mr. Hickey, who practices in the areas of Criminal Defense and traffic tickets, has successfully handled matters ranging from car accident injuries and welfare fraud to DUI’s, domestic violence and murder.
Mr. Hickey has experience practicing all over Southern California, including Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial, Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego counties.
