I wish we had hired someone else to represent my daughter in a juvenile case, in which my daughter was both a victim (sexual harrassment) but also an offender for defending herself against a school bully. Mr. Tanner was condescending when talking with her and it was as if he did not take seriously th...e confusion and distress she was feeling. He made no effort to find out about our family, or who she was as a person and every time he opened his mouth it felt disgenuous and phony. What made matters worse, is that he was unwilling to advocate or fight for her rights, which further confused and saddened my 15 y.o. daughter. He basically talked to the DA and was thrilled with a result that was no victory for us. He had no fight in him, he was lackluster and insipid and even offensive at times, when he tried to draw parallels to our case using examples that were wildly inaccurate and inappropriate. I wish I could give 0 stars, which directly reflects the amount of care he showed to us. What a waste of time and money!

Mr. Tanner and his assistant Ms. Luna provided the worst divorce representation I have ever experienced. In fact, after receiving my retainer, they did absolutely nothing but lead me on to incorrectly charge me for emails. I was billed for a substitution of attorney that was never filed, so despite h...aving paid and having an agreement for him to act as my attorney of record, he never legally was. After three weeks of delays and claims that they needed to review my file, I requested a refund. I was charged $665 for nothing but inflated fees. He billed me a $235 fee to review my file, even though I was informed via email that he needed me to send documents for that review. I strongly advise you to think carefully about whether you want an honest attorney and paralegal with handwriting that resembles 4-inch letters, or if you would prefer to do your research and find a competent attorney who won’t try to mislead you, provide false information, and take your hard-earned money. Navigating a divorce is challenging enough without the complications caused by an unreliable attorney.
