I have been practicing law for 15 years and am admitted to practice law in the State of California’s Supreme Court and all its Federal District Courts. My practice includes Civil Litigation and specializes in Real Estate Construction Law (mechanics liens, stop notices, Miller Act claims), Business Law (including corporate formation, maintenance and dissolution), as well as Estate Planning. My offices are located in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego, California. The secret to the successes I have had has come from being honest with my clients, setting reasonable and affordable rates, and putting my clients’ interests before the firm’s when resolving their claim, but all without sacrificing an aggressive approach which is needed to resolve often complicated issues that arise in construction and general civil litigation matters.
In the real estate construction litigation field, my experience includes a large range of claims from small to multi-million-dollar disputes involving state, federal and private construction matters, as well as some construction defect litigation. The claims I have handled include, but are not limited to, bond issues, change orders, extra work, delay claims, both direct and indirect, home office burden disputes (Eichleay formula), acceleration claims, disruption claims, and claims for damages stemming from impacts to construction schedules. All of which involved extensive legal research, motion drafting, court appearances, oral argument, discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trial preparation, and of course representation at trial should settlement not be achieved beforehand.
With the majority of my clients being in business and in an effort to provide assistance and support for all their legal needs, I provide corporate, limited liability company, partnership and sole proprietorship formation and maintenance services also.
Additionally, many of my clients who I have assisted with litigation, real estate construction disputes and business matters are in need of wills, trusts and powers of attorney. As this area of law was my focus in law school, I am able to provide my clients the necessary plans they need for their families as well and bring them the peace of mind they need for the issues they face outside of the business world.
I desire to help my clients solve their problems efficiently while saving them costs so that they can return their focus to their businesses, work and families. I welcome speaking to you and providing you the legal assistance you may need.
