Wish I would have handled things myself.

This very simple divorce that cost me $5000.00. Wish I would have handled it myself. I don't feel the legal given was any thing more than I could have done for myself.

Cindy, although disappointed by your review, I am relieved to learn that you were dissatisfied not with my professionalism, integrity, competence, or responsiveness – but rather only with the cost of the services provided. A two-star review may be how you feel about the fees you paid but I don’t think it’s a fair representation of our firm’s work or the results achieved. I understand that it’s sometimes difficult to see the value of legal services – especially when a case goes smoothly and your lawyer doesn’t have to enter “warrior mode” (this coming from an attorney who has also been a family law client). Sometimes the mere presence of counsel makes things run more smoothly than they otherwise would. Imagine a store owner closing up shop for the day and saying “I don’t know why I paid that security guard so much – nobody tried to rob us today!” I’ve reviewed all of your billing and have found nothing unnecessary. I’d be happy to talk with you offline if there is a substantive aspect of the representation that you feel was unsatisfactory.

He is Fantastic!!!

If you need an attorney and don't meet with was first you will be sorry you didn't. He has saved us a lot of sleepless nights and money as well. He talks in ways that a layman can understand. I worked as a psychologist with many many attorneys over the years in the court system. Steven is the qui...ntessential definition of the title Counselor. Our experience was nothing short of absolutely wonderful. His initial consultation was free but worth $1,000.00'S in pertinent, practical and useful information. Call him now. The JCF Inc., had a dispute with a very large International Corporation. The JCF needed a knowledgeable, experienced and effective negotiator to help us reach an agreement that both sides could accept. Steven did an outstanding job negotiating a settlement. It was a pleasure to work with Steven. ...We were able to contact Steven whenever a question or concern came up. He responded to us that same day either by phone or e-mail, mostly by e-mail, which helped keep the legal fees and cost down.

Meaning of excellence

This gentleman is the definition of excellence, not only did he help me get all my debts taken care of, but provided me with guidance to better myself financially. He kept me on the right path with do's and dont's and answered all my questions in a timely manner. He always returned with great feedbac...k and always extending himself to meet my needs. Not only that but my case may have seemed easy to him at first but it had its own complications, and curve balls that he never dealt with before, but he figured it out and made it happen. Thanks to him things are moving smoothly now. I had very little worries throughout the process and it was because of his confidence and assurance. He didn't sugar coat anything, he was honest and up front. I reccomend him to anyone who is considering a bankruptcy case even if you think it may be too late, just talk to him he will work with you. I didn't think I was going to be able to afford it at first, because of my debts and i am active duty so I already don't make that much. But he worked with me and he was very understanding and compassionate with how limited my capabilities were. In my opinion I didn't think it was possible at first but he found a way and made it possible. Thank you again Steven it was a true pleasure to meet you, God bless you and your family. Helped us in a desperate situation

We encountered a veryserious health problem and could not keep up with our mortgage, car payments, bills. We went to another firm that took our money but basically didn't help us at all. We were referred to Steven thru a Financial Planner and from the very first meeting my wife and I knew we had the ...right person representing us. He was positive and encouraging and just gave us a sense that we could trust him. He handled a very complex discharge for us and it was done with only one appearance. I can safely say if we need legal advice again, Steven gets the call first and every time.
