Peter Zamoyski is a Partner at Goode Hemme. He is known for being a tough, resourceful advocate who is dedicated to his clients—good people and their companies who have been wronged and need justice to work in their favor. With nearly 25 years of legal experience as a real estate and business litigator, as well as being a Harvard-trained mediator, Mr. Zamoyski wields extensive legal acumen and an entrepreneurial approach to deliver truly extraordinary results for his clients. He’s proven that he fights hard for his clients and their businesses in their time of need—and, most importantly, he delivers big results: earning verdicts and awards of $32 million, $19 million, $7 million. So if you need someone to fight for you in a heated breach of contract case against a rival business, take on a difficult real estate dispute or commercial leasing situation, negotiate a complex real estate purchase agreement, and go to battle for you against the largest corporations, government entities, insurance companies and their national and international law firms—Mr. Zamoyski is the attorney for you.
Mr. Zamoyski has been a member of the State Bar of California and the Federal Courts (U.S. District Court, Southern District of California and other federal jurisdictions) since 1996, a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and a Barrister/Alumni member of the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at his Alma Mater, the University of San Diego School of Law, teaching Experiential Advocacy to the next generation of attorneys and litigators.
When not in the office, Mr. Zamoyski thoroughly enjoys spending his time outdoors in San Diego's sunny weather with his fiancée, their children, and family and friends. He plays sports avidly and can usually be found on weekends either playing pick-up games of basketball, hitting the waves, or struggling to keep playing his favorite sport, water polo. He is very proud of his three children, all of whom joined in his passion for water polo. His eldest two children have continued that passion as they’ve gone off to college at Stanford and Cal.
Philanthropically, he has served since 2003 as Chairman of the Board for Buddy Bowl, Inc., a charity dedicated to raising funds for disabled military, law enforcement, and first-responders through amateur flag-football tournaments.

The Best Business Litigation Law Firm for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses! For a number of years, my company was the exclusive supplier to a nationwide restaurant chain. "Peter is both an incredible attorney and person. I've had the pleasure of working with him on a couple of cases and was - and continue to be- struck by how easy he is to get along with, how thoughtful and targeted he is, how passionate he is about what he does and how much he cares about all his clients and his co-workers. If you're in a position where you need a lawyer to protect you or to advocate for you, Peter is an excellent choice!"
"I strongly endorse Peter. Highly respected in the legal community with an outstanding reputation for client advocacy and dedication."
"Peter is unquestionably a top notch litigator and true professional. The words that come to mind in describing him include: intensity, integrity, tenacity, hard work and great results that every lawyer would be proud to put on their resumes. I endorse Peter without hesitation."
"I endorse this lawyer. The attorney works very hard for the clients and keeps up with the law by attending legal seminars to assist them in this regard. I endorse this attorney."
"Peter is a true professional and provides you with solutions to complex problems He has both practical know-how, and superior legal expertise and ability. I endorse him without hesitation."
"I’ve had the pleasure of working with Peter for close to 5 years. He’s passionate, detail-oriented, and relentless in his pursuit for the absolute best results for his clients. You will find that nothing intimidates him, and he doesn’t think twice before taking on even the most formidable opponents. What sets Peter apart from other attorneys even further is the relationships he has with his clients. He’s compassionate and sensitive to the emotions that often accompany litigation, and makes his clients feel comfortable and protected throughout what is often an intimidating process. If I had a family member or close friend who needed legal help, Peter and his firm would be my top choice."
"We could not be more impressed with the ultimate result Mr. Zamoyski acheived for our elderly mother-in-law who fell at a Kaiser facility and went through a terrible aftermath as a result. We thought it could not be done, a "little person" suing a big corporation like that, but we simply wanted to make our mom-in law whole. Mr. Zamoyski approached the case head-on, and negoatiated a firm yet fair resolution. More imporantly, Mr. Zamoyski was extremely caring and compassionate to our mom, who was terrified of the court process. Mr. Zamoyski has the entire package."
"I endorse this lawyer. I worked for Mr. Zamoyski while I was in law school and learned a great deal. He's intelligent, detail oriented, and hard working. As a fellow attorney, I don't think I could give a higher endorsement than to state that I would not hesitate to hire him if I needed legal representation."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have litigated business disputes on the same side and on the opposing side of Peter. Peter possesses excellent litigation and trial skills. My experience is that Peter also remains focused on obtaining good business results for his clients with an eye towards efficient and cost effective resolution of disputes. I refer clients to Peter with absolute confidence."
