A native of Bakersfield, I knew by the age of 7 that I wanted to be an attorney. As the captain of the debate team my senior year in high school, I was taught never to back down from an argument that I believed in. In college, after cross-examining an officer as a pro se defendant in my own speeding ticket trial and having the judge sustain some of my objections to the officer's testimony, I knew that this was the area of law I wanted to enter. Those experiences in school prepared me for advocating and preserving the rights of my clients who were accused of driving under the influence and overcoming any adversity that may present itself.
As my career progressed, I began to shift my focus from alcohol consumers to representing small alcohol producers. I assisted them in setting up their business entities, acquiring liquor licensing, negotiating contracts on their behalf and making sure they were compliant in all facets of the law, including the Alcohol Beverage Control Act, the California Code of Regulations and the United States Code. I am the liasion for craft breweries, cideries and distilleries and the California Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) and the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Board (TTB, formerly the ATF).
These days, I like to think of myself as the full service alcohol legal counsel. From defending you against accusations of DUI or public intoxication charges, to advising your alcohol production business in contracts, compliance and other small business legal matters, I am your go-to counsel for everything alcohol-related under the law.
For criminal prosecutions, I am happy to make payment arrangements with clients and for my craft alcohol producers, I offer affordable monthly legal subscription plans for general counsel matters. Feel free to reach out with any questions related to my practice.

I felt comfortable with Diane the first time I met her. You could tell that she knew what she was doing...I sure didn't. A year later, after multiple meetings, getting expert witnesses ready, etc, etc. She had us ready for trial! I know I never would've gotten the outcome I did without her help. She ...

She was very quick with call backs and did everything for me and made it as easy as possible. Wiped my speeding ticket off and can't say how much it helped because we all know what a point can do to your insurance. She appeared for me so I didn't have to miss any work due to court appearances.
