I was looking to resign as estate administrator because of lack of funds to maintain the probate bond then a couple of life insurance policies showed up as probate assets. She was willing to take the probate case to conversion. Lisa salvaged the case and it went alright in the grand scheme of thing...s. A pearl of wisdom that Mr. Bush who was the mediator during our mandatory settlement conference late December 2021 is "no one is happy in a settlement." I total agree with that statement. I wasn't happy with the settlement; it was a settlement I can live with. That's what a settlement is; something you can live with. I wish I would have hired her as my initial probate attorney representing me as estate administrator. I wish Lisa well in her legal career. I came away from the dealing with this convoluted probate case as an estate administrator that Lisa does care and went into law for the right reasons. Probate is a very emotionally charged area of practice. Finding an attorney that you click and fit with is very important. I highly recommend her.

It was time to start thinking about the future of our growing family and Lisa was the perfect choice to help guide us through our options. She asked many questions to find the right fit and made all the legalese very easy to understand. On her recommendation we formed a Revocable Living Trust and... couldn't be happier with the result. We now have things set in place for a number of possibilities that we had never even considered and feel secure our family assets will transfer in the way that we want - not per a probate court's decision. Another plus is that Lisa is willing to do all the hard work herself, or hand over certain responsibilities to the client if you are so inclined (after very clear direction of course!). The fees are all upfront (not hourly like most lawyers) and Lisa continually went above and beyond our expectations. In the end we have a (very large) binder and thumb drive with all of our instructions, forms, notarized paperwork, etc., a lifelong ally in our family's trust in Lisa, and most importantly peace of mind that we will always be taken care of no matter what happens.
