I would NOT hire him "if" it were me

He didn't like that another person who gave him a bad review was anonymous so I've included a small quote to help his ego. He stated that I was describing a hypothetical situation even though I stated "I was accepted to a career training program." Then he told me not to use certain language even thou...gh the distinction was important to my specific situation. There are so many attorneys that are both knowledgeable and personable that you shouldn't waste your time with him.

I remember your post and I remember the 2nd attorney's response criticizing it. Perhaps I was not clear enough in not faulting you for using the jargon term "general damages" as to which I did, and do, fault the legal profession which mindlessly created and perpetuates it. Regardless, your criticism of my attitude is subjective and I accept it; I understand that you would have had a much better experience had my attitude met your expectations and for that I am sorry. However, many of us here are not looking to get hired by persons to whose posts we respond and that certainly was the case here; one prominent lawyer here is not taking any new cases. Nor are many lawyers known for winning attitude beauty contests esp. when dealing with opponents; perhaps there need to be more personability criticisms in dealing with clients. My substantive criticisms were all valid no matter how poorly couched, unimportant to you, or rejected by you. Any personability which would obscure that truth would be unethical and unprofessional.

Rude

I asked a very simple, clear question and it was met with extreme sarcasm, rudeness and unprofessionalism. Which is completely unnecessary! In all fairness, I rather have received no response than what this man left. I will certainly be sharing this experience with others. Unbelievable!!!!

It's simply amazing that Avvo allows the posting of a "review" by an anonymous person with no ability for me or viewers to read the dialogue supposedly prompting the "review". Unless/until this is essential unfairness is corrected, I'll operate on the basis that this was the post which was removed (and thus cannot be viewed) after being flagged by another attorney who claimed that the poster attacked both of our wives (I am unmarried by the way but the poster hallucinated a wife for me anyway). There are very few really bad apples posting here but that was one of them.

Patient and knowledgeable !

He reply my questions in detail. His Guidance is valuable. I can't hire him because we are in different cities. He should be a judge. We need more of this gentleman.

FYI , ALOT OF BLIND PEOPLE TYPE IN BOLD PRINT . WHY BOTHER LEAVING A RUDE COMMENT ? PERSONALLY I DONT HAVE THE TIME TO WASTE IN A DAY LIKE THAT. INFACT REPLYING TO THIS IS TAKING WAY TO MUCH TIME.

Robert Burns Attorney 100% Professional

I would recommend Robert Burns, He helped me with a felony arrest 1999. and in 2004. Robert listened to my side of the story and Robert negotiated my case with the prosecution lawyers and went from a felony to misdemeanor probation in 20 minutes. Now for the personal side. Were neighbors and I dont t...hink he remembers me however I was trying to move my truck because of street cleaning and it wouldnt start. True story from half a block away Robert came up and suggested to push the truck to other side to a garage. He helped me push my truck down the street in his fancy dress shoes. Roberts act of kindness blew me away
