Words cannot express how grateful we are to have had Ms. Kartchner represent my son. My 14 year old son had a severe lack of judgement and was charged with multiple felonies. We were completely overwhelmed! But Ms. Karchner was extremely professional and incredibly kind and understanding. She never o...nce judged our family and treated us with the highest level of respect. We were grateful that she took the time to explain all of the legal proceedings and jargon that we were not able to understand and she thoroughly and completely explained our rights and responsibilities so that dealing with the court system was less intimidating. She went out of her way to set up meetings, visit our son in juvenile hall multiple times and prepare a case that would give him a just sentence. She was present at every single court hearing (arriving early and sitting with our family the entire time) and, despite having some serious charges against him, she was able to get some charges dropped and others reduced. This resulted in our son having the opportunity to start over with a clean slate once probation is complete. Ms. Kartchner is incredibly attentive and never once made us feel like we were a bother despite several phone calls initiated by us with yet another question. Even though we are certain that we were not her only client, it certainly felt like it. She is professional but has a great demeanor which instantly made us feel relaxed and ready to tackle the issue at hand.
