Mr. Sagerian gets five stars plus in my book. He went above and beyond to help my son, who is mentally ill, finally get through the system and to a place where he can be helped. It's taken five years worth of in and out of jail, and they never assign the same PD twice on purpose. It's especially ...horrific that mentally ill find themselves incarcerated just because there is no place else for them to go. I'm very thankful and appreciative that Robert was assigned my son's case. He dug in and got the answers to make things happen, where I believe many others would not have cared enough to make that effort. It's a busy system and these attorneys have a crazy number of files and limited time for each. Note it was necessary to check "hired" or "consulted" on this review so I chose "hired" as he was the Public Defender that was assigned my son's case, which was just resolved today, 10/7/15, and my son will be getting mental health services FINALLY outside of the penal system.
