Lack of effort
I just feel that Mr. Crowley did not give 100% effort on my case. He let the city attorney delay the trial because a police officer was on vacation (after I had already flown out to San Diego from Illinois). My case was delayed and Mr. Crowley kept billing me. A public defender took over my cas...

Terrible
This man could not even remember my name much less the details of my case and always wanted more money for doing nothing. You'd be better off with a public defender, run don't walk to somebody better yet anybody else.

Replied last September 03, 2019I don't know who "Karma" is, this is likely part of a scam. I always know my client's name and we keep track of everything we do for our clients, such that an accounting of what was done and when it was done is available for the client at any time upon request. I always know the details of my client's case when preparing for court. By the way, there are many fine public defenders so, if this is a real person, they shouldn't be making statements such as you would be better off with a public defender. Michael L. Unsatisfactory
I retained Michael Crowley to represent me. He showed up late, had no plan to resolve the case and just kept delaying sobhebcould charge extra.

I have never in my career charged anyone extra money because of a continuance and am seldom late for court unless I am in another courtroom and then I always notify the court of where I am. I always have a plan for a person's case. If this is a real person and/or client they should contact me directly to tell me of their complaints. Michael L.
