Biography
Mr. Hand is a California Bar admitted attorney of 25 years.
He is a graduate of Occidental College, and Loyola Law School, where he was selected for the staff of the International and Comparative Law Journal.
Initially trained as a litigator with the San Diego District Attorneys Office, he has tried more than 70 cases to verdict. In the area of criminal defense, he was selected for the Federal Criminal Justice Act Panel in 1990, and since then has has handled all serious feloly matters in state and federal courts, including misdemeanors, DUI with injury or death, robbery, gang allegations, drug offenses and homicides.
Since 1999, his practice has been primarily transactional work, where he served as in house or General Counsel for 3 public companies and multiple privately held entities.
Mr. Hand has developed a specialty practice in the area of LLC formation and transfers of seagoing Vessels and Aircraft.
Mr. Hand also assists clients in advanced estate planning utilizing trusts, LLCs and partnerships to reduce taxes, faciliate inter-generational transfers and shield assets from liabaility claims.

Excellent Attorney
