I am so happy to have met Amanda. A friend recommended her when I was getting ready to proceed with my divorce. At first, I was skeptical, since I had heard horror stories about people dealing with lawyers, and I had never had to use a lawyer prior to that. However, from our very first meeting, Amand...a explained the process very clearly to me and answered all of the questions that I had. She was very nice, sweet, and encouraging. From the very first sentence that she told me, from her confident manner of speaking and presenting herself, I knew that she meant business. Prior to talking with her, I had called a couple of attorneys whose numbers I had gotten by the Bar Referral Service, and both of them were quite frankly condescending and intimidating. Talking to Amanda was such a breath of fresh air; she empowered me to go through the long and drawn out process of divorce and custody division. Throughout the divorce, Amanda has always been on-point about answering a million and one of my questions very promptly, filing all the proper paperwork exactly whenever it was supposed to be filed and coming to every single one of my court meetings (I heard from some other acquaintances of mine that some of their attorneys did not even show up at some of the meetings, which would have terrified me, to face the judge on my own). I understand that in order to have licensure as an attorney, one needs to have a basic understanding of when to file what forms and how. However, I think that what makes a great attorney stand out is their ability to relate to a client and look at each client's situation from a fresh perspective, evaluating a diverse spectre of legal approaches and options. Amanda is exactly that -- she is very personable, knowledgeable, and analytical. More so, talking to Amanda felt like talking to a friend - in the whole mess of my crazy divorce, she was my ally, my buddy, my rock. I knew that she would never give me a bad advice, and I knew not to panic unless she was going to (she didn't!). I think that for most people, splitting custody of the kids and going through a divorce brings us to our knees, and that is when Amanda's most helpful, kind, and knowledgeable attitude is indispensable.

Amanda is an incredible attorney! She always replied to every email and phone call right away, which I appreciated so much after dealing with other attorney's who would take a week to make a return phone call. Amanda is considerate but won't sugar coat the legal facts, another thing I really apprecia...ted! Amanda helped me with my divorce and also helped me negotiate spousal support and child visitation issues with my ex after their refusal to get an attorney, I could trust her to contact my ex to continue to work on my behalf.

In our case, Amanda helped us modify child and spousal support as well as negotiate custody matters. She was very thorough in her research of the case and past judgements in our case. She kept us well-informed during the entire process and gave excellent advice. Amanda worked twice as hard for a r...easonable rate than my previous "big shot", high rate lawyer! She even found things he should've done previously and picked up his slack. In the courtroom and dealing with the opposing counsel, she was clear, concise and direct in her arguments. We will be using her again in the future for further issues regarding support and highly recommend her to others!

This has been one of the most difficult years in my life. I never thought I would be a single mom at 37 to a two year old and having to have a judge "order" his father to be equally financially responsible.
